As many of you know, Ellison Homes was formed with one primary goal in mind: to spur growth in California City so retailers would consider coming to the city. We’re happy to say that our mission has been accomplished. Families are enjoying the quality features of more than 30 Ellison Homes, and we believe we raised the bar for other builders in the city. Retailer interest in California City is growing, so our focus from this point forward will be on Ellison Plaza.
Building homes was a means to an end—raising the city’s population to a point where retailers would take notice. While we may build a couple homes per year, our energy is now going totally toward attracting retailers to the Plaza.
